Rhododendron is a flowering plant of Indian origin

1. Lighting and placement.

Azaleas need bright but diffused lighting, protected from direct sunlight. It is best to place the flower on the east or west side of the house. In winter, in case of lack of light, it is possible to use artificial lighting.

2. Temperature mode.

Preferred: 18-20 Cº. During the bud formation period 13-15 Cº.

3. Moisture and watering.

Requires high humidity, especially in summer, by spraying water on the leaves 2-3 times a day. They also place a self-contained container full of water near the plant (unless we have a room humidifier).

4. Fertilizer.

Mineral fertilizer once every 2 weeks in spring and summer. Fertilizer should not contain chlorine. Phosphorus and potassium-containing preparations are useful, especially in the formation of buds.

Fertilize once a month in winter.
